Not all hoses and pressure washing wands are going to be universal with each machine. You need to find the right pressure wand and also the correct pressure washing hose.

The pressure washing hose needs to be congruent with your pressure washer. There are two types. There is the residential grade hose which is for lower psi units and is going to have a screw on end. The other type is commercial pressure washing hose and is going to be rated for higher psi and also is going to have a quick disconnect end . If you have an option I suggest you get a unit that is going to have quick disconnects as they are a lot more reliable and easy to use.

Along with the hoses there are also two different types of wands available. You can get the wand for the residential unit or one for the commercial unit. Again you need to know what type of pressure washer you have in order to get the correct wand for your matching. The residential wand is going to be one piece and is also going to screw directly onto the hose and has very limited mobility or options when it comes to changing out the wand.

The commercial units are going to be in two pieces and also are quick connect. You are going to have the actual gun part of the wand then another parts that hooks to the end and actually funnels the water through the end. These are going to be the higher quality units as you can interchange them out if you need a shorter wand you can swap it out on the same gun.

When looking for a wand keep in mind that they are not all created equal and you pay for what you get. There is some junk out there but if you are spending over 30 dollars I am sure you are getting a decent pressure washing wand.
