When it comes to looking for deck paint colors there are some things you are going to want to consider. Firstly are you wanting to stain your deck or are you wanting to paint it? There are several differences when it comes to staining a deck as opposed to painting a deck. Stain typically is going to be semi-transparent and allow the wood grain to show through the stain and give it a cleaned up natural look whereas, paint is going to basically cover up the grain of the wood and you are going to be looking at a solid colored piece of wood. I am not going to tell you that one way is better than the other however I will say that you are going to want to pressure wash your deck or fence before you apply any type of stain or paint. I have included a behr stain chart so you can look at some of the different colors of stains and use the behr color stain chart to get a better idea of what deck paint colors are available.

The reason I used this stain color chart as a reference is that Behr is one of the largest stain a deck paint manufacturers in the world. There are other stain companies and some of them are gonna have somewhat different deck paints and stain products. When it comes down to the work that i do, I either use Behr deck stain or wolman deck stain as they are the highest quality product in my opinion.
